Hi
do the the CSA take into consideration a partner living in the same
house. Would her salary also be used to work out money to be paid to
them?

Thanks

"No" isn't quite true. If you are on the old scheme (CS1 - i think)
they do take partners money into account. They say it is only to work
out if you can pay the assessment and reduce accordingly if you are
below a certain level of income.

Under CS1 they would use Partners income (if provided) only under the
Protected Income calculation.

This would not normally make any difference unless you were on very low
income yourself and would only ever cause an INCREASE in your liability.

In short DO NOT provide partners income details. If the CSA ask then simply
tell them that your partner has not authorised you to disclose their
personal details.
